Baking Soda Face Mask For Blackheads

Ingredients: –

-Juice of ½ a lemon

-2tbsp of baking soda

-1tsp of honey

Mix the ingredients until they form a paste. If you feel it’s too runny, add some more baking soda. Wash your face with warm water to get rid of all the makeup, dirt and debris. Warm water also opens up your pores. Apply the mixture to your face using circular motions. Why? This stimulates blood flow and it also feels so damn good.

Leave the mask on for 5 to 10 minutes. Use a warm cloth to wipe off the mask and then wash your face with cold water to close your pores. Use your favorite moisturizer (mine is coconut oil) and voila!

My experience

I felt a slight tightening after a few minutes of applying the mask. When I washed it off with warm water, my skin looked brighter, cleaner and felt amazingly soft. My nails also looked cleaner because I rubbed the mask on my hands as well. Baking soda is a powerful whitening agent and holds other skin benefits discussed below.

Why Lemon juice? Lemon juice brightens skin.

Why Honey? Honey is a natural antibiotic and moisturizer that promotes skin regeneration. It can also help acne-prone or dry skin.

Why Baking Soda? Baking soda is a natural antibiotic that nourishes, protects and heals your skin. It’s great for blemishes, reduces acne damage, speeds up healing of acne scars and is a great solution for blackheads. It loosens the skin around blackheads and makes them easy for you to extract. It also eases the pain from skin toning.
